How would you respond when a patient asks, "do you think I am too fat?"

I would just tell them that whatever their weight or body type, some things cannot be controlled. Whether how delicious food tastes or maybe they have a thyroid problem. If they feel that they can be healthier, then by all means, go be healthier.

Having a little extra fat on the human body is perfectly normal and beneficial it's not harming it in any way, although height and gender do have inputs with that.
