Hi there!

First, we need to make the denominators of the fractions the same. This can be done by multiplying 1/2 by 3/3 and 2/3 by 2/2. This gives us the fraction 3/6 and 4/6. We can subtract 4/6 from 3/6 to get -1/6, which will need to be taken out of the fraction later. Lastly, we will subtract 8-5 to get 3, of which we also need to subtract 1/6 from that. Therefore, Keith has 2 5/6 cups of flour left.
