Molar mass of NaOH = 23 + 16 + 1 = 40.0 g/mol

Molar mass of HCl = 1 + 35.5 = 36.5 g/mol

NaOH + HCl = NaCl + H2O

1*40 g NaOH ------> 1*36.5 g HCl
        g NaOH -------> 7.3 g HCl

36.5 g  = 40 * 7.3

36.5 g = 292

mass ( NaOH ) = 292 / 36.5

mass ( NaOH ) = 8.0 g of NaOH
