The given is:
(y+1)^5 / (y+1)^2

When dividing equal terms with different power values, we just subtract the values of power (power in numerator-power in denominator).

Therefore, for the given question:
(y+1)^5 / (y+1)^2
= (y+1)^(5-2)
= (y+1)^3 ..........> this is the simplified form of the given
