12 is the three in 3.5 so 5 is the 20 b/c 1/3 of 12 is 4 and 4*5 is 20

we know that

by proportion

[tex]\frac{3}{5}\frac{orange}{pick} =\frac{12}{x}\frac{orange}{pick}\\ \\3*x=12*5\\ \\x=60/3\\ \\x=20\ picks[/tex]

therefore

the answer is
