For these type of problems here is what I would do
93/2 = 46.5

Then, one over, one under 
46 and 47

x + (x + 1) = 93

2x + 1 = 93

2x = 92

2x/2 = 92/2

x = 46
x + 1 = 47

46, 47 is your answer

46 + 47 = 93
