I think this is important because if pregnant women avoid medications , it will not risk the baby to be harmed. As well as some medications could potentially make the baby have problems while at birth and could kill the baby if you take a overdose. While taking medication, and it flowing through you body into the baby's stomach, it could be alright for the women but an overdose for the baby.
