more equal treatment of human beings of any skin color. Opportunities not previously available to people of African ancestry have opened up and paved the way to a better life for future generations. This also means that people of Caucasian ancestry have lost some of their unearned advantages, leading some to become nostalgic for the days before apartheid was abolished in South Africa.
