The slope is:  [tex] \frac{3}{200} [/tex] .

slope = rise/ run = 15 ft/ 1000 ft ;

          = 15/1000 = (15÷15) / (1000÷15) ;

            =  1/ (200/3) = 1* (3/200) = [tex] \frac{3}{200} [/tex] .
