it's probably to cross out results of an experiment, since all other things rely on luck and chance more than experiment and investigation. Coin toss is luck, rolling a sum of something, luck again, outcomes that should happen, they SHOULD happen, but wont for SURE. If you do an experiment, result will always be the same, that is the difference.
