Can some one help me. But explain in step by step?

Step 1: -6a + 3 = -3(2a - 1)
Step 2: -6a + 3 = -3(2a) + 3(1)
Step 3: -6a + 3 = -6a + 3
Step 4:+6a         +6a
Step 5:          3 = 3

The variable of x is equal to Any infinite number.
