In order to find the total magnification of a microscope, you'd have to multiply the eyepiece magnification (ocular lens) by the magnification of the objective lenses.

For example, if we want to know the total magnification of a microscope under low power that has a low objective lens of 4x, then you'd multiply 4 by 10. Most ocular lenses generally have a magnification of 10x.
