Who established Texas's unofficial capital?

Aguayo was a Spanish and he established texa's unofficial capital. Los Adaes was the unofficial capital established by the Spanish. It was 1722, when it become the unofficial capital of Texas and it remained as capital of about 50 years. At that time French were a threat there so Spanish needed closer supervision, that is why they established the capital of Texas.
