[tex] \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}= \frac{y-y1}{x-x1}
= \frac{12-(-4)}{8-4}= \frac{y-(-4)}{x-4} [/tex]
[tex] \frac{16}{4}= \frac{y-(-4)}{x-4 } = 4(x-4)=(y+4)[/tex]
[tex]4x-16=y+4 [/tex]
[tex]4x=y+4+16[/tex]
[tex]4x=y+20[/tex]
[tex]y=4x-20[/tex]
