(6 + 2)^3 - 4.3

= 8^3 - 12
= 512 - 12
= 500

6 + 2³ - 4  ×  3 = 500

The parentheses will most likely go before the exponent because that will raise your number up higher.
(6 + 2)³ - 4  ×  3 = 500
(8)³ - 4 × 3 = 500
512 - 12 = 500
500 = 500

So the parentheses will go around the (6 + 2).
