If your asked to find the minimum/maximum coordinate on a positive absolute value graph, will there be a maximum? Or not? Only a minimum?

You would either have a local min OR a local max.
If the graph opens upward, you have a local min. If the graph opens downward, you have a local max.

In your case since the absolute value graph is positive, y = |x|, it would have a minimum.
