[tex] f(x)=x^2+3 \\ g(x)= -x-1 \\ 1. (g+f)(2)=g(2)+f(2)=(-x-1)+ (x^{2} +3)= x^{2} -x+2= (2)^{2} -(2)+2=4 \\ 2. (f/g)(1)=\frac{f(1)}{g(1)}= \frac{x^2+3}{-x-1} = \frac{(1)^2+3}{-(1)-1} = \frac{4}{-2} =-2[/tex]
[tex]3. (g-f)(6) =g(6)-f(6)=(-x-1)-( x^{2} +3)=- x^{2} -x-4 \\ =- (6)^{2} -(6)-4=-46[/tex]
