A young boy is growing at a rate of 3.5 cm per month. He is currently 90 cm tall. At that rate ,how many months will the boy grow to height 132cm

First, subtract the height he will grow to to the height he is now.

132 - 90 = 42

Now divide this from 3.5.

42 / 3.5 = 12

So it will take 12 months for him to grow to a height of 132 cm.
