Tell me this. Why is a "w" called a double "u" and not a double "v"? just for fun

it was probably written slightly different back when the alphabet was created idk.

Probably because when we used the phoenicians alphabet they had it written slightly different and because of the way language and culture progressed over time it stayed the same and changed in a few ways.
