The tree's height is 36 feet!

Work/explanation below:

1. The ratio of the boy's shadow to height is 4 : 6 or 1 : 1.5.

2. Plug the tree's shadow into the ratio and you have 24 : 24 X 1.5

3. 24 X 1.5 = 36.
