Mansa Musa is the Musa I of Mali. Mansa is an equivalent term for "emperor". The journey of Mansa Musa to Mecca in the 1300s is a proof that Islam has brought a great influence on the Empire of Mali. Mansa Musa is actually the ruler of the Malian Empire during this period. Hope this helps.
