Magnoliophyta (a phylum under the SubkIngdom Tracheobionta of Kingdom Plantae) is the scientific nomenclature for flowering plants (i.e. the plants that reproduce with flowers). Flowering plants are also known as angiosperms. Out of all land plants, flowering plants are the most diverse group.
