The Kennedy Years were called the Camelot Years by JFK's wife, Jackie Kennedy, after his death. Camelot was a mythical time of King Arthur and the Round Table where everything seemed to work out. After the assassination of her husband, Mrs. Kennedy wanted the country to remember the good things about her husband's presidency. She was very instrumental in moving the country forward with a positive attitude and being a gracious example.
