The German occupation of Czechoslovakia is associated with the supposed ethnic connection of the population of the area annexed by the Empire under the command of Hitler. The Nazi dictator, therefore, required the possession of these lands in order to keep all the Germanic peoples together with the German Empire, which is still the idea of Pangermanism, which contributed to the beginning of the war.
