your dataset has 10 elements, thus the median comes out of the middle pair, if it were an odd amount like 9 or 11, then, it's just the middle value, but is an even amount of 10, so it comes off the pair, as you'd see in the picture below
now.. the Mean, that's just the average amount, so add all 10 elements and divide them by 10, that's the mean, for each
check what differ and by how much
