I'm assuming you need the product of the inverse equation f with x=7

First we find the inverse of f(x)
f(x)=y=0.5(3)x
---------> x= 0.5(3)y
---------> y= x/.5(3)

The inverse is
f-1(x)= x/.5(3)

With x=7
f-1(x)=x/.5(3)
f-1(7)=7/.5(3)
         =14/3
         = 4.6
