In the 1850s, the term "Bleeding Kansas" referred to violence related to the issue of slavery.

What is Bleeding Kansas?

Bleeding Kansas was used to describe a period in 1854 which explain the violence which break out  between pro-slavery and anti-slavery forces .

And this is to be able to create of the new territory of Kansas , hence, it was  violence related to the issue of slavery.
