A bacterial chromosome is considered prt of the bacterial genome and codes for gene products that are essential for the survival and function of the bacteria.

A plasmid is actually not considered part of the genome. It is extrachromosomal DNA that codes for gene products that are not essential for survival and function of the bacteria, although they may confer some sort of benefit to the bacteria like antibiotic resistance.
