Working out:
H = height
R = Radius
A = area

Volume of a cylinder = A x H

Area of circle = Pi x (R^2)

Label the candles, Candle X and Candle Y

(X being the one with 3.1 inches and Y being the one with 3.9)

*CANDLE X*
3.1 x 3.1 = 9.61
9.61 x pi (3.14) = 30.1754
30.1754 x H (6.3) = 190.10502cm^3

*CANDLE Y*
3.9 x 3.9 = 15.21
15.21 x pi (3.14) = 47.7594
47.7594 x H (3.9) = 186.26166cm^3

CANDLE X HAS THE LARGER VOLUME BY 3.84336CM^3
