The x-intercept of the function is (3, 0)

x-intercept of the function

Given the funtion

g(x) = log (x + 4)

The x-intercept is the point where g(x) = 0

0 = log(x + 4)

Take the exponential form of both sides

e^0 = e^log(x + 4)

1 = x + 4

x = 4-  1

x = 3

Hence the x-intercept of the function is (3, 0)
