Why is it important for all the phases of growth and reproduction to proceed correctly in order for a plant species to survive?

The phases are important because each step helps the plant cells grow and reproduce. If a step is missed the plant will not be formed correctly.

In other words, if the plant dosent have the correct organelles to absorb water it will die.
