-2(x-2)-4x=3(x+1)-9x  love these problems.

-2x+4-4x=3x+3-9x<-- I first multiplied the number outside of the parentheses to the numbers inside. Keep in mind that when a negative time a negative, it equals a positive, in the case of -2*-2.

-6x+4=-6x+3<-- I then combined like terms.

Right away I see that -6 and -6 would cancel out if i just added it to the other side. Thus this equation has no solution.. sorry.
