The two events that helped to unite the Anglo-Saxon are the spread of Christianity and the united battle that was waged against the invading Danes.
The Anglo Saxon rapidly embrace the Christianity religion when the religion was brought to their country, this enhanced the relationship between the feuding sections cause they saw themselves as one in Christ.
