Ok so nationalism is an identification with ones own nation and support for the interest especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations so democratic nationalism is basically a less extreme version of that where people still have the ability to advocate and support political independence but still have I guess pride in their nation and the best interest of their nation while maintaining a sort of freedom
