Life cycle of a flowering completes in the following stages; 1/. Development of gametophyte. I.e female gametophyte( egg+ 2n nucleus) and male gametophyte( tube nucleus and generative nucleus which then form 2 sperms). 2/. Fertilization :: during fertilization egg+ 1 sperm combines results in zygote. Egg + Sperm = zygote 3/. Seed and fruit:: After fertilization the ovule is said to be seed and ovary is said to be fruit. 4 /.
