World War 1 led to the growth of American economy and gradual globalisation. It also partially removed the isolationist policies and general sentiment that were in place beforehand. Men became scarce as they were drafted for war and women’s rights were pushed ahead. As I mentioned before, world war 1 tightened America’s grip on the globe, economically and politically.
