Solve the linear equation: 5 - x = (x/2)

Hi

5-x = (x/2)

5 =  (x/2) +x

10 = x+2x

10 = 3x

10/3 = x  

let's check :  

5- 10/3 =  15/3 -10/3 = 5/3

(10/3) /2  =10/3 * 1/2 = 10/6 = 5*2/3*2 = 5/3
