Write an equation that you could subtract from 4x+3y=-7 to eliminate a variable. Then solve the system.

x= 7/4 - 3/4          

you just have to subtract on variable and then put it on the other side, eventually you will have to divide it all by 4, which you can't do, so it ends up as a fraction:)
