Given that,

Alonzo is $120 in debt. He makes $15 per hour. He wants to have at least $75 left over after he has paid off his debt.

To find,

The inequality and the solution.

Solution,

Let he make $x per hour. Here, $120 is fixed. $15 is added per hour.

ATQ,

[tex]120 + 15x\ge 75[/tex]

For atleast, we use [tex]\ge[/tex].

Subtract 120 from both sides.

[tex]120 + 15x-120\ge 75-120\\\\15x\ge -45\\\\x\ge -3[/tex]

So, the required answer is greater than -3.
