1. To find the y-intercept, replace x with zero.

2(0)+3y=12
= 3y=12

Divide both sides by 3,
3y/3=y 12/3=4

So Y-intercept is: 4

2. To find the X-intercept, replace y with zero.

2x + 3(0) = 12
2x=12

Divide both sides by 2
2x/2=x. 12/2= 6

So, x-intercept: 6
y-intercept: 4
