How have you been? It’s getting tough out here in Andersonville, and I don’t know how much longer I will last. We lost three men today. I try not to think about it as much, but it still pains me. Please do not worry about me, as I am fighting for us. Waking up today was dreadful. The smell of gunpowder and blood was everywhere and inescapable. (Add onto what you want, this was the best I could do!)
