Opposite interior angles are equal, so

4x - 10 = 2x + 20

2x - 10 = 20

2x = 30

x = 15

4x-10=2x+20(being alternate angle)

or,4x-2x=20+10

or,2x=30

or,x=30/2

or,x=15

again,

4x-10 (putting the value of x)

=4×15-10

=60+10

=70

2x+20 (putting the value of x)

=2×15+20

=30+20

=50
