The Inuits are Native Americans living far north in Canada. They are mainly hunters and spend their summers hunting and preserving food for the harsh winter. In the 19th century Inuits continue to hunt and store meat fir winter. The animal skins are used to make clothing and other household items. Hunting also provided raw materials for heating and making weapons.
