Answer:

We see that 2 points on the line are (-1, 7) and (0, 4) so the slope is (7 - 4) / (-1 - 0) =  -3.

The slope is -3 Becuase you do rise over run. You fell 3 so -3 and you ran 1 so -3/1 equals 3
