i think its 5/8. because 3/4 is to big and 1-1/4 is too small to be a median

If you organize them by largest to smallest, the list becomes 
1-1/4, 1-1/4, 3/4, 5/8. Because you're trying to find the median of an group with an even amount of elements, you have to find the middle between 1-1/4 and 3/4. That middle is 1. Therefore, your median is 1.
