The slope is equal to 2.

~

The formula for slope is:

[tex]\frac{y_{2}-y_{1} }{x_{2}-x_{1} }[/tex]

Now we can plug the points into the equation.

[tex]\frac{5-(-5)}{3-(-2)}[/tex]

Then we can solve.

[tex]=10/5=2/1[/tex]

Simplify even further.

[tex]=2[/tex]
