To find the slope(m), use the slope formula:

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]   And plug in the two points

(0, 18) = (x₁, y₁)

(3, 2) = (x₂, y₂)    [lines go from left to right, so the point furthest to the left is the 1st point]

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

[tex]m =\frac{2-18}{3-0}[/tex]

[tex]m=\frac{-16}{3}[/tex]      You can't simplify, so this is your slope
