well for one the Europeans cam here and just claimed the land that they thought was then "theirs" which they had not known had been occupied by the native Americans and so then when they saw the euros (Europeans) they saw it as trespassing but then when the euros saw them they thought THEY were trespassing soooooo then it became a war of lots and lots of trespassing.
