I am very confused with this. This is a algebra 1 question x-2x-2=-(x+4)-4

Answer:

-3=x

Step-by-step explanation:

First you must add the X's on each side which gives you: 1x-2= -x - 4 - 4

Next you must add the first number 4 to the - 2 on the other side.

Then you do the exact same thing with the other number 4.

After that you get 1x+6=-x, then you subtract the 1 x with the -x to get 6= -2x.

Finally divide  both sides by 2 and your final answer is -3 = x
