and

[tex]1\ nanometer = 1\ nm = 1.0\times 10^{-9}\ m.[/tex],

so

[tex]1\ \mu m = 1.0 \times 10^{3}\ nm[/tex]

which means that

[tex]\lambda = 0.535\ \mu m = 535\ nm[/tex].

In fact we can say that the light is green, because its wavelength is in the range of 500 nm to 565 nm.
